8' x 18' Pergola

Build date: October, 2024
I've been thinking about building this knockoff Toja Grid pergola for a couple of years now. So it is amazing to finally see it come to completion. Most rewarding build so far. I originally planned to use 6x6 lumber, but finally caved in and went with 4x4 due to cost, availability, and ease of use. Next up is the deck to go underneath.

Restoration Sneak Peek

A sneak peek at a couple craigslist finds awaiting restoration. A beautiful condition Lane Cedar Chest dated 04/15/1990. And a vintage solid wood dresser originally sold by Montgomery Ward Co mail order catalog and shipped from their Oakland warehouse to Lassen. Need to look through some old catalogs to properly identify this one.

Modern Console Table - Dark Walnut Stain

Build date: September, 2024
Inspiration: Google "modern console table"
A console table to go with the previous bench in the hallway. Plain Douglas Fir lumber. The lumber was pretty warped and with this type of design and my lack of skill, it was a pain to level properly. Nevertherless, turned out pretty good.
